More information from the Japanese gaming magazine CoroCoro, as well as a trailer, has been released! It tells of new minigames you can play via wifi, such as "Merry Mime Jr" where you play as a Mime Jr to balance on a ball the longest, as well as a Wobbuffet game, along with the already mentioned swalot eating game. There are many new aspects of Platinum released as well: the Battle Factory makes a welcome return, running pretty much the dame ways as it did in Emerald. As well as where you and your rival have a double battle with Sunyshore Gym Leader Volkner and Elite 4 member Flint. You also start the game in a different way, instead of running into your rival and "stealing" Professor Rowan's Pokemon. Over the GTS's new "Global Terminal" you can send letters over to your friends over Wifi; it is unknown if you can send these to strangers as well, or if you have any control of what to say/write. New pictures and scans have revealed that you will meet Cyrus at the begining of your jouney at Lake Verity. Additionally, the identities of the silhouettes will be revealed by the game's release on September 12, 2008. Click the scans below to make them bigger. Scans are from filb.de.
