Strategy: Geodude and Onix are quite easy to destroy, however Cranidos is stronger by alot! Remember to bring your potions! There is no change to the gym layout. You can go above and beat Roark without battling his trainers, but that'd be a waste of valuable experience.
Gardenia: Turtwig Lv 20, Cherrim, Lv 20, Roserade, Lv 22
Strategy: Shouldn't be too hard! Roserade knows weather ball, so make sure you wipe it out before it uses sunny day then weather ball. There is a change to the gym layout, which has flower pedals, as well as water geysers. You beat each trainer, and the pedals shall move. You then go on them, and beat all the trainers from then on. When you beat them all, the water will stop, which will let you heal your Pokemon. Gardenia is not a difficult gym leader.
Fantina: Duskull Lv 24, Haunter Lv 24, Mismagus Lv 26

Strategy: The changed the order of the gyms, so Fantina is now 3rd. Perhaps this is due to the confusion that some people had after they beat Crasher Wake. Anyways, her gym has also been revamped. You walk around with a flashlight. Other trainers also do so. If they/you flash light on each other, you will battle. There are a series of doors you must go through to reach Fantina. The door you're suppose to head through is on blue panel you must shine your light on. For example, a blue panel may have a star sign on it. This means you head through the star door. Simple, right? Fantina herself is not difficult either. Her Pokemon are decently leveled, and if you have trained your Pokemon around the level of hers,(and have a few dark type moves) you should be fine. Remember that normal type attacks have no effect on ghosts, and vice-versa. Her duskull does have Will-o-wisp though.
Maylene: Meditite Lv 28, Lucario Lv 32, Machoke Lv 29
Strategy: The gym has been majorly revamped. It is now a complete mess of exercise equipment which includes punching bags, tires, and wrestling arenas. Her trainers are situated throughout the gym, and to get to Maylene, you must break the tires by pushing punching bags into them. Maylene herself is not difficult either.
Crasher Wake: Gyarados Lv 33, Quagsire Lv 34, Floatzel Lv 37
Strategy: The gym's layout is the same as the one in D/P, so you should have no trouble getting to Crasher Wake. Gyarados is Water/Flying, so grass types are normally effective, but electricity deals 4x the damage! Quagsire is immune to electrcity, but grass types deal 4x the damage. Floatzel knows ice fang, so watch your grass types. Floatzel is also a large level jump from his other pokemon, so watch out, come prepared, and bring items.
Bryon: Magneton Lv 37, Steelix Lv 38, Bastiodon Lv 41
Strategy: Make sure your pokemon are leveled high enough. The gym's layout is the same as in D/P, so you shouldn't have any trouble on it. Bryon uses steel types, so make sure you either have a ground type, or a fire type to play on their weaknesses. You can hit magneton, dispite how it looks like its floating above ground.
Candice: Sneasel Lv 40, Poliswine Lv 40, Abomasnow Lv 42, Frolass Lv 44.
Strategy: Her gym has the same layout, but there are more snowballs. Be careful of the ice attacks she uses if you have weakness to that type. However, Abomasnow has 11 weaknesses, so it shouldn't be hard to wipe it out. Ice types are weak to fire types, so use it to your advantage.
