Platinum Gift Pokemon

In Platinum, just like in all the other games, you recieve pokemon for doing various tasks. Here is a list of them. This will be updated as we go along.

1. Cynthia gives you an egg containing a Togepi when you beat Team Galactic in Eterna City. It has no special moves, and obviously starts at level one. You can't get another Togepi in the game. This event introduces the concept of eggs to the trainer, so the Hiker in D/P who gave you the Happiny egg no longer does so.
2. On Iron Island, after you beat Team Galactic, you get an Riolu egg. This is completely optional, but if you do want an Riolu, make certain you have an extra slot in your party before teaming up with Riley. Additionally, you cannot find Riolu in the wild.
