Platinum Notes II

Here is Platinum Coverage I. This continues on, as that list was becoming rather full. Newest information is at the bottom.

• From Solaceon Town, go to Vielstone City. The floor in Veilstone city looks a bit more rocky.
• Dawn/Lucas meets you infront of then Vielstone Gym, and for some reason, Crasher Wake comes out of it.
• The gym has been revamped, and has wrestling arenas, Punching bags, holes in the ground, and tires. You use the punching bags to break the tires, which block your way.
  
• Maylene: Meditite Lv 28, Lucario Lv 32, Machoke Lv 29.
• After you win, like before, Dawn/Lucas comes up to you and says her/his Pokedex has been stolen by Team Galactic. Heal before you go up to the Galactic Warehouse to beat them.
• After you win, Handsome (the detective, remember? That's his name) comes up to you, and leads you into the warehouse to claim HM 02, fly. Yay, you now have fly. Teach it to a flying Pokemon.
• Go to Pastoria City.
  
• There is a Croagunk board where you can stick your head inside it, and it looks like a Croagunk with your head.
• Heal, the go to the Pastoria City Gym. Your rival wants to battle you before you head in.
• Beat Crasher Wake: Gyarados Lv 33, Quagsire Lv 34, Floatzel Lv 37
• Go to the Great Marsh. Crasher Wake will be standing there. Talk to him, a galactic grunt appears, and heads in. You hear a big explosion. The grunt runs off as your rival comes to see what's going on. Crasher Wake goes into investigate and it's your job to run after the grunt, just like in D/P, just with somewhat different circumstances.
• Run after him. He has a Croakgunk after when he challenges you to a battle.
• Cynthia shows up just as the grunt walks away. She gives you the Secret potion to get past the Psyduck Road block just north of Solaceon Town. Your rival shows up, says something, and walks away.
• Fly to Solaceon Town, and head where the Psyducks were standing. Use the Secret Potion, and Cynthia will give you her grandma's charm thing, and request that you give it to her grandma in Celestic Town. That is your next destination
• Celestic Town looks the same as it did before. Go where you see the grunt, and attack him. After you win, Cynthia's grandma will show up, and give you HM 03, surf. Teach surf to a pokemon.
• Go back to Jubilife City, then head east to go to Canalave City. You have to surf.
• Surf is about 2x as fast as it was in D/P, thank goodness.
  
• Your rival attacks as you cross the bridge. Remember to heal before you battle him.
• Canalave Gym looks the same. There is an increase of Magnemites, though.
• Bryon: Magneton Lv 37, Steelix Lv 38, Bastiodon Lv 41.
• When you win, go up to the Canalave Library, where you will see your rival. He won't let you go into the library.
  
• Head to Iron Island. Riley will be at the enterance, and he will give you HM 04, strength. This is different than in D/P.
• Fly back to Canalave, and your rival will let you go into the Canalave Library.
• The same explosion happens, and it's your job to head to Lake Valor.
  
• Fly to Pastoria city, and go to Lake Valor.
• Beat all the grunts there, as well as Saturn.
• Saturn: Golbat Lv 38, Bronzor Lv 38, Toxicroak Lv 40.
• Fly to Twinleaf after you win. Let your mom heal your pokemon, then head to Lake Verity, where Dawn/Lucas are very obviously losing to Team Galactic.
  
• Lake Verity has a few grunts, which aren't very strong. Heal if needed at your house, then battle Mars.
• Mars: Golbat Lv 38, Bronzor Lv 38, Purugly Lv 40.
• Professor Rowan will ask you to check on your rival at lake Acuity, near Snowpoint City.
• Go to Celestic Town, and head east to inside Mt. Coronet.
  
• Inside is the same as in D/P, save for a tunnel near the end. You'll know it when you see it. Inside is a single Pokeball, which contains a Nevermeltice.
• As you trek through the blizzard, Maylene comes up to you for some reason. She leaves.
• Trek your way to Snowpoint City. On the way there, you'll see your rival on top of a cliff. This is now near the location of Lake Acuity. You need Rock Climb to get there; therefore you need to beat Candice first. Also, there are no grunts blocking your way at the top at Lake Acuity, as they were waiting for you beat Candice.
• Candice's gym has no changes.
  
• Candice: Sneasel Lv 40, Poliswine Lv 40, Abomasnow Lv 42, Frolass Lv 44.
• Go to lake Acuilty, and you will see your rival lose, like before.
• Go to Vielstone City, where Handsome will meet you at the Team Galactic Head Quarters (the smaller shed part).
• Go into the small shed, get the Galactic Key, and go to the main building. Somewhere along the line, you'll see a whole hoard of Galactic Grunts listening to Cyrus. Handsome and you spy on the grunts and Cyrus as he gives his speech.
  
• When Cyrus is done, Handsome follows him, and expects you to follow.
  
• Beat Cyrus, and he gives you a master ball, like before. Now, it's time to free the 3 pixies.
• Beat Saturn. Then, he'll move and you can press the button to free them.
• Leave the Head Quarters.
• Fly to Oreburgh City, then go through Mt. Coronet. The route is the same.
  
• Cyrus summons Dialga and Palkia, but then, a shadow appears, and Giratina sucks Cyrus into the Torn World.
• Cynthia chooses this moment to show up, and asks you if you'd like to go into the torn world. Say yes, then both go in.
  
• The Torn World is quite intersting. You can see Giratina flying overhead in it's Origine Forme sometimes. You;ll need strength and surf, but you should have that. Surfing and Strenght is essential to keep going in the game.
• There are many floating platforms at many different elevations. It may be quite confusing at first, but you can do it!
• When you see Uxie, Azelf, or Mespirt, they will move their tails around a boulder. This means you push the boulder down into the hole they move down into. There are 3 boulders for these 3 pixes.
• You should see all the boulders you pushed down. Push the boulders to the hole infront of where each pixie is, and nothing else! This is a puzzle, so don't mess up, or you'll have to go back up to get the boulder again. When you push the boulder into the right place, each pixe will let out a cry to let you know you've done it right. Additonally, the boulder will not fall, but instead stay in its place in the hole.
• Talk to Cynthia after you solve the puzzle, and a new platfrom will appear. Go on it, and it'll lead you down to Cyrus.
  
• Cyrus: Houndoom Lv45, Gyarados Lv 46, Crobat Lv 46, Honchcrow 47, Weavile Lv 48.
• Giratina is Lv 47. Catch it, but DON"T use the master ball.
• After you catch it, you will see some white portal thing. Go into it. Cynthia follows you
• You come outside of Turnback Cave! You can't go in because Cynthia is blocking the entrance.
• Fly to Sandgem town. Meet Prof Rowan in his lab, and he'll check your pokedex.
  
• Go to Sunyshore City. It's the same way as in D/P.
• Flint comes up to you. He says stuff about Volkner not being motivated, etc, like in D/P.
• Volkner is still hiding in the Sunyshore Lighthouse. Speak to him, and he'll return to his gym.
• Sunyshore Gym has not changed.
• Volkner: Jolteon, Lv 46, Raichu Lv 46, Luxray Lv 48, Electrivire Lv 50
